The invasion of pigeons began

I never thought to pigeons as a plague to society. Certainly, the fact that pigeons shit on your clothes is not at all pleasant, but it is certainly not a threat to civilization.

Well, all this is about to change. The city of Kikgswinford, near Dudley - England, was hit by an 'apocalyptic' flock of pigeons, they where so dense that you thought it's an sun eclipse.

The local bird observer Terrence O'Dell told the newspaper "Metro" that he was terrified. ''The sky was black and I thought maybe it meant an earthquake was going to happen'.

He said that the pigeons seemed as a "swarm of gray locusts" and that is the first time that such a thing happens in that area.

But before you go in your bunker to retrieve the anti-pigeon missile, given the fact that even though a flock of that size is uncommon sight in England, this does not mean that we should expect an invasion of winged demons!
