Women can keep a secret only for two days
According to a researcher made by scientists from British, women can keep a secret only 47 hours and 15 minutes.The research shows that a major proportion of the study participants shared the secret to another person in less than 5 hours.
The research was made on a representative sample composed from 3000 women with ages between 18 and 65. 40% of participants could not keep even embarrassing information about a very close person.
More than 50% admitted that alcohol makes them more vulnerable to propagate the secret to others; friends, wives or parents are first informed. According to the study, a woman hears directly three secret in a week, which places further on at least one other person.
"It's official, women cant keep a secret. No matter how personal or precious information is, in less than 48 hours the information become public," said Michael Cox, director of Wines of Chile, the company that commissioned the study.

yes, i admit, i've told my best friends things about myself i consider secrets... and i do hope they keep them a secret (although most of the time they don't)
but if it's not my secret to tell, and the other person tells me they don't want it told, i never tell it. EVER!!! I'd think super poorly of myself if i betrayed a friends trust like that.
