The Californian artist Bob Dob draws ... heads. But sometimes he draws other parts of the body. On his blog he said he gets inspired by the work of the 'painter Edward Hopper, Classic Disney, Film Noir and James Ellroy.'
All his childhood Bob Dob dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player, but severe disease (cancer), deprived him of that hope. More than 10 years, he played in the punk group Lunacy, drawing posters and, more recently he discovered his passion for painting wallpapers for iPod and iPhone.
