Just concepts or these are the cars of the future?

Today we arrive to a point where gasoline consumption is an important factor in projection of a new car. More and more car factory sponsors young designers and engineers to project and design new car. The new cars must be ecological, more independent off fossil fuels and safer.

Here are some interesting new car concepts by young designers who want to shape the future starting by reinvented the car.

BMW ZX-6

Designers of this project named “Designing the BMW of 2015” which is designed in partnership with BMW are Jai Ho Yoo and Lukas Vanek .

The concept is focused on the needs, taste and life style of a car lover.

BMW GINA Concept

Designed by Chris Bangle, head designer of BMW, GINA is a roadster concept. The sheet metal used on bodies of vehicles has been replaced with a special highly durable, flexible and extremely resistant fabric material that stretches over a metal structure.

The driver can change the shape of the outer car skin with the help of a numbers of moveable elements of the car structure controlled by an electro-hydraulic motor. The “skin” of the car can be chanced in 2 hours so basically you can chance the color of your car every time you want without anybody’s help.
