London Fashion Week – the ugly side

London Fashion Week is a very important event in the world of fashion. It’s the first of the important fashion event that dictates the trend in fashion for that year. So what we see there could decide what we wearing whole year. But it’s wise not to take everything so literally and use and our fashion sense when we dress.

This year London Fashion Week bring new fresh ideas and concepts but not all was so inspired.

Here are the most uninspired looks that we don’t recommend to anybody. Puff Piece A gothic feeling, mixed with inventive shapes created out of padded vests. Naughty,Not Nice Naughty school girl with mini shirt, sharply tailored jacket and pointy hat. Star Trek The future is bright for knitwear designer Louise Goldin who seemed to be channeling space-aged amazons in her second show. The Last Samurai Gareth Pugh likes to put on a real show and this season his inspiration came from the complicated costumes of Samurai warriors. On the Rise Marios Schwab is young, but he's got ideas and he's not afraid to show them - including the inventive cut-out knit dress worn over jeans. Long Live The Queen London catwalk Queen Vivienne Westwood had a huge homecoming after nine years of showing in Paris. Sheer Ingenuity Black, small squirt and transparency with great effect. Carnaby Street The 1970’s lit up one more time the runway Highland Fling Drawing on his Scottish roots — and the movie The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie - Graeme Black showed prim and proper tweeds mixed with luxurious cashmeres, chinchilla and airy organza.
