Happy cows

…means more milk for us

This discovery result from a study make by Dr. Catherine Douglas and Dr. Peter Rowlinson, from Newcastle University U.K. The study claims that cows with name are happier and more productive than anonymous cows.

It is a psychological effect that is similar with the study that shows that cows who listen classical music give more milk. It is know that giving a name to animals affects them in a good way and from here the results.

The results are obvious and shows that named cows give with 258 liter of milk more that a nameless cow during a year. So if you have cows and you want more milk you know what to do.
