From this year we must change your health insurance if you want to cover the new high tech surgery of bionic eye implant. After a long research, science people successful implant a bionic eye to a blind man.

 

After 30 years of darkness a man from UK can see flashes of light. You can say it’s not mach, but for him is a veritable miracle, a new hope for a normal life. The miracle name is Argus II and is a high resolution video camera and a receiver. The surgeons implant a receiver behind the ocular eye and link to the optic nerve. Video camera was mounted on sunglasses and link with the receiver wireless. The device transform the video signal in to electric signal witch is transmit along the optic nerve to the brain and enables the patient to distinct the motion, light and dark.

 

Argus II was developed by an US corporation but was tasted first in UK. The American researchers hope to develop the device further until can replace the sunglasses video camera to an actually globe eye who can be implant in the orbits of blind people.

 

Until than, we can say it’s quite a miracle this technology, a new hope for all the people with eye problems. The surgeons are optimistic about this technology and thing that kinds of surgery will be included in all health insurance and it will be a simple operation.
