Luxury seems to be for the wealthy people of the world a primary need and to obtain that they are welling to pay almost unlimited amounts. British newspaper Times Online make a research which shows that, despite the economic problems of last year, charges on five-star hotels have not diminished but, on the contrary, have climbed to unprecedented level. According to the research conducted by the magazine editors, some people are willing to pay 37,650 dollars for a luxury night spends at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes, France. The price is for a penthouse with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sauna and a generous terrace. Other facilities include teleconference system, Internet connection and TV satellite, computer, etc... Other hotels with similar prices identified by the Times are the Four Seasons in New York, where an apartment is $ 35,350, President Wilson in Switzerland, with $ 35,000 per night, Grand Resort Lagonissi in Greece, with $ 34,500 per night and Cala di VoIP in Italy with $ 27,600.
